Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications for Flow Cytometry and life sciences instrumentation systems.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions using technologies such as C# or C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams, engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver innovative scientific software solutions.
- Perform software integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to ensure stable product performance.
- Conduct quality assurance tasks including code reviews, technical inspections, and validation activities to maintain software quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and engineering best practices throughout development processes.
- Work within iterative and Agile-based product release environments focused on timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Support software maintenance and enhancement activities for existing scientific applications and instrument software systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows, automated builds, and deployment processes where applicable.
- Maintain technical documentation related to software design, testing procedures, and development activities.
- Continuously improve technical expertise in scientific software engineering, automation technologies, and AI-enabled development practices.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial software development or enterprise software engineering environments.
- Strong programming expertise in C# or C++ with good understanding of software development principles.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable and performance-oriented software systems.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies including design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality-focused development practices.
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative, cross-functional engineering and research teams.
- Understanding of software quality assurance activities such as code reviews, testing, and technical validation processes.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled software development workflows and modern engineering tools will be advantageous.
- Exposure to Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, or DevOps practices will be considered a plus.
