Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems used across development, testing, and production environments.

• Support day-to-day management of IT infrastructure and ensure smooth operation of internal systems and business-critical applications.

• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and infrastructure health to identify potential issues and ensure optimal operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot technical problems across servers, applications, networks, and user environments while implementing effective resolutions.

• Maintain and support development, testing, and production environments serving multiple clients and business units.

• Manage user accounts, system permissions, access rights, and password controls while adhering to organizational security standards.

• Assist in implementing infrastructure improvements and system enhancements that increase reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with senior engineers, developers, and technical teams to support application deployment and environment management activities.

• Participate in system monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime.

• Provide technical guidance and training to users regarding system functionality, best practices, and usage procedures.

• Document infrastructure configurations, operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and technical processes for future reference.

• Support IQVIA Health SaaS platforms by ensuring infrastructure stability, security, and availability for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, system administration, infrastructure management, or a related technology-focused role.

• Understanding of operating systems, server environments, and enterprise IT infrastructure concepts used in modern organizations.

• Knowledge of hardware installation, software deployment, system upgrades, and routine maintenance procedures.

• Familiarity with user account management, authentication mechanisms, access control systems, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Experience troubleshooting technical issues related to servers, applications, networks, and end-user systems.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, SaaS applications, virtualization technologies, and modern infrastructure management principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement solutions efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Understanding of monitoring tools, performance management techniques, and system reliability best practices will be advantageous.

• A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and adapting to evolving business and infrastructure requirements.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for an IT Engineer 1 at IQVIA in Bengaluru typically ranges between ₹4.5 LPA and ₹8 LPA, depending on the candidate’s technical knowledge, relevant experience, certifications, and infrastructure management skills.
