As a DevOps Engineer within the CAD and DFX Software organization, you will collaborate with software developers, semiconductor engineers, DFT specialists, and infrastructure teams to build scalable and highly automated development environments. You will contribute to the creation of advanced software solutions using technologies such as Python, C++, TCL, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Your responsibilities will involve managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure, supporting software development environments, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless software delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines. This role offers exposure to enterprise-scale engineering systems and the latest advancements in AI-assisted software development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage end-to-end DevOps workflows that support software development, testing, deployment, and operational efficiency.

• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools to automate software delivery, testing, and release processes.

• Manage cloud infrastructure and on-premises environments to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and high availability of systems.

• Collaborate with software engineering and semiconductor design teams to support Design for Test (DFT) software development initiatives.

• Develop automation solutions using Python, C++, TCL, and related technologies to streamline engineering workflows and operational processes.

• Configure and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and orchestration.

• Support software laboratories, hardware infrastructure, and engineering environments by troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring operational continuity.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements that enhance system reliability and resource utilization.

• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and build automation processes using GitLab and related development platforms.

• Work with binary repository management tools such as Artifactory to support software packaging, versioning, and distribution requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, network, infrastructure, and deployment issues across development and production environments.

• Participate in cross-functional collaboration with DFT methodology, implementation, and design teams to support critical engineering projects.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, generative AI technologies, and code generation frameworks to improve software engineering productivity.

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure management, automation, or software operations.

• Strong programming and scripting expertise in Python, C++, TCL, or related languages used for automation and software development.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, algorithms, debugging, and quality assurance methodologies.

• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent automation platforms.

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar infrastructure automation technologies.

• Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and container deployment workflows.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with binary repository management tools such as Artifactory and automated software build systems.

• Knowledge of build frameworks including CMake, Meson, or similar build automation technologies.

• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, system administration, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Experience supporting engineering laboratories, hardware environments, and software development infrastructure is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA for workflow management and collaboration.

• Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT), semiconductor design workflows, or electronic design automation concepts will be considered a significant advantage.

• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-assisted coding tools, and intelligent automation technologies is highly preferred.

• Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering environments.

Expected Salary
