Responsibilities
.Strategic & Operational Support
Assist the Site Head in monitoring overall port performance and operational efficiency.
Support execution of strategic initiatives, business plans, and operational targets.
Track key operational metrics and highlight performance deviations.
2. Coordination & Governance
Act as a coordination point between departments (Operations, Marine, Maintenance, HSE, Finance, HR).
Ensure alignment of departmental activities with site objectives.
Facilitate internal reviews, meetings, and follow-ups on action items.
3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for site performance (cargo throughput, turnaround time, revenue, etc.).
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Support in creating dashboards and performance presentations for senior management.
4. Process Improvement & Projects
Participate in process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Assist in implementation of digitalization, automation, and efficiency-driven projects.
Track progress of ongoing projects and ensure timely execution.
5. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and port authority guidelines.
Maintain documentation related to audits, inspections, and compliance reports.
Support Site Head in audit preparedness and regulatory interactions.
6. Stakeholder Management
Assist in coordination with external stakeholders such as port authorities, regulatory bodies, vendors, and customers.
Support communication and follow-ups for smooth business operations.
7. Administrative & Executive Support
Provide executive support to Site Head including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation.
Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing notes for management reviews.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Any discipline) OR
MBA / PGDM (Operations, Logistics, Finance, or General Management)
Experience:
0–2 years of experience (Freshers preferred under Cadre
