Cencora Engineer – Quality & Testing

Job Description

Performs requirement reviews or sprint planning sessions and develops understanding of expectations

Translates business and technical requirements into test cases, test scenarios and scripts

Assists in evaluating testability of business and technical requirements based on business/functional requirement document, use cases, user stories and/or solution design documents

Provides feedback on the target technical specifications from testability and feasibility point of view

Evaluates quality of business requirements for medium to large projects based on Business Requirement Document (BRD), use cases and/or solution design documents

Supports and helps establish systems environment standards, and quality parameters and targets

Collaborates with project stakeholders to create a structured project test plan for all functional and technical system components, and defines assumptions, risks and user acceptance criteria

Assists in coding and documenting custom testing frameworks and requirement traceability matrix

Assists with setup and maintenance of test environments for both manual and automated testing

Leverages automated testing suites, explores edge cases and drives quality with development teams

Gathers test result data, assigns severity levels to issues, and documents accurate system response

Performs initial analysis of defects, conducts root cause analysis, and escalates issues as per protocols

Establishes processes and tool sets to maintain automation scripts and generates regular test reports for faster bug tracking and rapid reporting

Partners with quality engineers to simplify and modernize testing tools and techniques to ensure code maximum coverage and constantly improve the ways of testing the products

Actively participates in requirement/design reviews; identifies gaps during reviews and probes for detailed explanation of expectations
