Razorpay is hiring an experienced Systems Engineer (Network Engineer) to strengthen and manage its enterprise network infrastructure across critical fintech operations. The Systems Engineer will play a key role in managing enterprise-grade networking technologies including Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco Meraki wireless infrastructure, Zscaler security platforms, and network monitoring systems. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in network security, routing, switching, VPNs, cloud networking, wireless optimization, incident management, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. Candidates will collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, vendors, service providers, and operations stakeholders to ensure network stability, performance, scalability, and security compliance. This position provides excellent exposure to high-scale fintech infrastructure, modern enterprise networking environments, cloud-integrated architectures, and advanced cybersecurity operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and cloud security platforms.
2. Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls including policy management, NAT configuration, VPN setup, security profiles, firmware upgrades, and high availability environments.
3. Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus switches while handling VLAN management, VPC configuration, routing protocols, operating system upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting.
4. Administer Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points including dashboard monitoring, wireless optimization, network fine-tuning, and performance management.
5. Support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and ZTNA solutions by configuring policies, troubleshooting user connectivity issues, and maintaining secure access environments.
6. Monitor enterprise network performance using network monitoring tools and proactively identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
7. Handle incidents, service requests, change management tasks, and operational tickets while ensuring compliance with SLA commitments and ITIL practices.
8. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring network problems and implement preventive measures to improve system stability and operational efficiency.
9. Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues and support infrastructure improvement initiatives.
10. Participate in network upgrades, infrastructure migrations, technology implementations, and operational enhancement projects across enterprise environments.
11. Maintain detailed technical documentation, standard operating procedures, network diagrams, architecture records, and troubleshooting guidelines.
12. Provide support during critical incidents, maintenance windows, and on-call operational requirements while ensuring minimal business disruption.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
2. Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure operations, network security, or systems engineering environments.
3. Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls including firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, threat prevention, upgrades, and HA configurations.
4. Extensive experience with Cisco Nexus switching technologies including VLANs, VPC, routing protocols, OS upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting.
5. Hands-on knowledge of Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points including dashboard management, wireless optimization, and monitoring activities.
6. Experience working with Zscaler technologies including ZIA, ZTNA, and secure cloud access solutions in enterprise environments.
7. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless technologies, network security concepts, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
8. Familiarity with network monitoring tools, IT ticketing systems, incident management processes, SLA management, and ITIL operational practices.
9. Exposure to cloud networking technologies across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments will be considered an added advantage.
10. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, Meraki certifications, network security certifications, or cloud networking credentials will be beneficial.
11. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
12. Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office five days a week and provide on-call support during critical operational situations when required.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for a Systems Engineer role at Razorpay in Bengaluru generally ranges between ₹15 LPA to ₹28 LPA depending on technical expertise, networking certifications, enterprise infrastructure experience, and hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto, Cisco Nexus, Meraki, and cloud security technologies. Candidates with strong fintech infrastructure exposure and advanced troubleshooting skills may receive higher compensation packages.
