We are seeking a Performance Testing Engineer to join our software, system, and test engineering group.
You will engage in various stages of the agile development lifecycle, focusing on performance testing for distributed application systems across multiple platforms. This role involves creating and maintaining test automation, analyzing performance data, and optimizing system performance. Responsibilities
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives
Review requirements and maintain performance testing documentation
Produce high-level and detailed estimates using story points and time estimation
Document test strategies and develop test plans based on system requirements
Create and maintain test data sets for performance testing
Develop and enhance test automation coverage and effectiveness
Automate performance testing of systems under test
Participate in project reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections
Identify opportunities for improvement and promote best practices in performance testing
Provide recommendations for performance tuning of applications
