Youโ€™ll collaborate with designers, platform specialists, back-end engineers, and various stakeholders to create engaging web experiences. This position is ideal for developers who enjoy both hands-on coding and analytical problem-solving, especially within enterprise-scale content management systems. The role offers significant exposure to modern frameworks, cross-functional digital teams, and innovative web technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Analyze existing front-end codebases across multiple websites to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement or redesign.

  2. Develop and maintain high-performance front-end interfaces for Sitecore SXA-based sites, supporting multi-site and multi-lingual digital environments.

  3. Build intuitive UI components that align with business objectives, design systems, and user experience guidelines.

  4. Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, product owners, and digital strategists to ensure cohesive and scalable solutions.

  5. Write clean, optimized, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI development practices.

  6. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and consistency across devices and platforms.

  7. Develop multi-layered cookie banners, themes, and custom UI enhancements within Sitecore ecosystems.

  8. Optimize page speed, implement performance tuning techniques, and adopt best practices for reducing load time.

  9. Conduct debugging, unit testing, and quality checks to ensure the reliability and integrity of front-end implementations.

  10. Participate actively in code reviews, sharing feedback to maintain engineering quality standards.

  11. Integrate front-end components with server-side functionalities through APIs, web services, and CMS modules.

  12. Assess third-party code contributions, ensuring alignment with JCIโ€™s performance, security, and architectural guidelines.

  13. Prepare documentation, user guides, technical notes, and workflow details to support ongoing maintenance and updates.

  14. Stay updated with evolving frameworks, UI/UX trends, and CMS advancements to drive continuous innovation.

Requirements & Eligibility

  1. Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory with strong portfolio).

  2. Proven experience as a front-end developer with a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive, interactive UI work.

  3. Hands-on experience with Sitecore SXA in multi-site, multi-lingual environments, including theme creation and UI enhancements.

  4. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, and jQuery for building feature-rich interfaces.

  5. Familiarity with modern libraries and frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, or Node.js for advanced UI development.

  6. Understanding of server-side CSS concepts and their application in scalable UI architectures.

  7. Strong grasp of website structure, UI design principles, accessibility, and usability standards.

  8. Experience troubleshooting cross-browser issues, debugging UI defects, and validating design fidelity.

  9. Ability to build responsive and adaptive layouts optimized for speed and performance.

  10. Experience integrating UI with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Drupal, Expression Engine, or ASP.NET is a plus.

  11. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze large, enterprise-scale web ecosystems.

  12. Ability to collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and convert technical insights into actionable solutions.
