Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop Automated Test Scripts
   Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs to improve testing efficiency, repeatability, and software quality.
2. Perform Software Testing
   Conduct manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, performance, smoke, and API testing scenarios based on project requirements.
3. Execute Test Cases
   Prepare and execute relevant test cases, analyze results, identify unexpected application behavior, and ensure software functionality meets defined requirements.
4. Test Web Applications & APIs
   Validate application interfaces and API behavior by checking functionality, responses, integrations, and expected data flows across different software components.
5. Investigate Software Defects
   Identify, reproduce, analyze, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug-tracking systems while providing sufficient information for development teams to investigate issues.
6. Support Testing Laboratories
   Help maintain software testing laboratories, hardware setups, and test infrastructure used by global engineering teams for product development and validation activities.
7. Validate Technical Documentation
   Review technical documentation and testing-related materials to ensure that information is accurate, complete, understandable, and aligned with the actual product or testing environment.
8. Support Industrial Automation Testing
   Contribute to testing activities associated with industrial process instrumentation, automation products, and software environments where relevant to assigned projects.
9. Work With Linux Environments
   Use Linux-based testing environments, including Kali Linux where applicable, to support software testing, troubleshooting, validation, and engineering activities.
10. Collaborate With Development Teams
    Work closely with software developers, test engineers, and other engineering professionals to communicate defects, validate fixes, and support successful software releases.
11. Follow Agile & CI/CD Practices
    Participate in Agile software development processes and understand how testing and quality assurance activities integrate with continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
12. Drive Quality Improvements

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Engineering Qualification
   Candidates should have a relevant technical qualification such as B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, or MCA, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Software Testing Fundamentals
   A strong understanding of software testing concepts, test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect reporting, regression testing, and quality assurance processes is important.
3. Manual & Automation Testing
