Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Oracle APEX web applications while ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security across enterprise environments.
• Assist in building intuitive and accessible user interfaces from technical conception through implementation using Oracle APEX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend development practices.
• Customize and enhance existing enterprise applications to meet changing business requirements and improve operational efficiency for healthcare and life sciences systems.
• Participate actively in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Write optimized SQL and PL/SQL database code while collaborating with database administrators and development teams to ensure data integrity and application performance.
• Follow coding standards, development guidelines, security policies, and Oracle APEX best practices throughout software engineering and deployment activities.
• Conduct impact analysis, debugging, and testing of application changes to minimize defects and ensure smooth delivery during testing and production phases.
• Work with automated testing tools, accessibility testing frameworks, regression testing methodologies, and software quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, business analysts, and cloud engineers to deliver reliable enterprise software solutions.
• Support legacy systems, application upgrades, database migrations, and system modernization initiatives within enterprise technology environments.
• Implement version control strategies, CI/CD deployment practices, and cloud-integrated development workflows to streamline software delivery processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, Oracle APEX advancements, cybersecurity guidelines, and industry best practices to improve engineering quality and innovation.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university or institution.
• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle development using technologies such as Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL for enterprise application development.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, database optimization, query writing, stored procedures, and secure data management practices.
• Familiarity with frontend web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, React, or Angular for user interface development and customization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, Microsoft Visual Studio, and REST web services will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment automation.
• Understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID principles, dependency injection, design patterns, and scalable application architecture.
• Experience working with Agile SCRUM methodologies, sprint planning, collaborative development processes, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging capabilities, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently fix issues and improve system performance.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, unit testing, integration testing using NUnit/xUnit, and software quality assurance methodologies.
• Security-first mindset with awareness of OWASP guidelines, secure coding practices, data protection standards, and application vulnerability prevention techniques.

Expected Salary
