As the first line of technical support, the engineer will perform incident triage, classify issues based on severity levels, and ensure proper escalation when required. Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor production data pipelines and enterprise systems on a 24x7 basis to ensure high availability, reliability, and operational stability.
- Perform initial incident triage and accurately classify issues based on business impact, severity levels, and predefined support procedures.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents affecting Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI environments.
- Execute documented runbooks, recovery procedures, and operational guidelines to restore services and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate incident records, update support tickets, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders and management teams.
- Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 support teams by providing detailed diagnostic information and escalation summaries.
- Monitor application health, data processing workflows, system performance metrics, and service alerts to proactively identify potential issues.
- Support root cause analysis activities by collecting logs, system data, and relevant technical information for incident investigations.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards while delivering high-quality support services.
- Participate in rotational shifts and provide support coverage across global operations in a 24x7 production environment.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiency initiatives within the support function.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, cloud services, and enterprise support best practices to improve troubleshooting effectiveness.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Candidates should possess a Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI is highly desirable.
- Understanding of production support processes, incident management, monitoring tools, and IT operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, data pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise data platforms will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries, database management, and data troubleshooting techniques is required.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential for diagnosing and resolving technical incidents efficiently.
- Experience working with ticketing systems, service management tools, and incident tracking platforms is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for coordinating with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a 24x7 rotational shift environment and handling time-sensitive production issues.

Expected Salary
