Job Description:
Adobe is hiring a Member of Technical Staff 2 to join its Document Cloud team in Bangalore, working on innovative solutions that power Adobe Sign, one of the leading digital signature platforms globally. As part of Adobe’s mission to transform digital experiences, this role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based systems that support millions of users worldwide. You will be involved in developing next-generation workflows and services that enhance document management, signing, and automation capabilities across enterprise environments.
In this role, you will collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to design and implement robust backend services and APIs. You will work on distributed systems and microservices architectures, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of applications. The role requires strong expertise in Java/JEE technologies, Spring framework, and database systems, along with the ability to handle large-scale datasets efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and scalability of Adobe’s Document Cloud platform.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop next-generation Document Cloud components, tools, and APIs to enhance product capabilities and user experience.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud services that ensure data protection and system reliability for enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product managers, and developers to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
- Develop and implement high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements and performance expectations.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Apply secure software development practices to ensure compliance with security standards and protect user data.
- Work with distributed systems and microservices architectures to build scalable and maintainable applications.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth system operations.
- Manage and process large datasets efficiently, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance development practices and innovation.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong academic background is essential for understanding complex systems.
- 2–5 years of experience in developing distributed systems or large-scale backend services in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in Java/JEE with hands-on experience in building enterprise applications.
- Good understanding of the Spring framework for building scalable and maintainable backend services.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and exposure to NoSQL databases for handling large datasets.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed system design principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges effectively.
- Experience working with modern development tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
