Job Description

Fime is hiring a Software QA Analyst to join its Bangalore team, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions in the digital payments domain. As a globally recognized leader in payments, mobility, and digital identity, Fime works with top organizations to ensure secure and efficient transaction systems. This role plays a critical part in validating payment applications, ensuring compliance with global standards such as ISO8583 and EMV, and maintaining the integrity of financial transaction flows across systems.

The position involves analyzing business and technical specifications to design and execute functional test cases. The QA Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile and DevOps environments to identify defects early, perform detailed log analysis, and ensure seamless transaction processing. A strong focus is placed on validating payment flows, non-regression testing, and ensuring that software releases meet both functional and regulatory requirements.

In addition to testing responsibilities, the role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement. The QA Analyst will participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups, contributing to the overall product lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analyze functional and technical specifications to design effective test cases for payment systems.

2. Execute functional and non-regression testing to ensure application quality and stability.

3. Validate payment transaction flows based on ISO8583 and EMV standards.

4. Perform log analysis to identify defects and understand system behavior.

5. Develop and maintain test data, test cases, and detailed test reports.

6. Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.

7. Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.

8. Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and program increments.

9. Maintain project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

10. Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.

2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles.

3. Experience in the payments domain with knowledge of ISO8583 and EMV transaction flows.

4. Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, and QA methodologies.

5. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.

6. Basic programming knowledge for understanding system behavior and debugging.

7. Experience in log analysis and troubleshooting system issues.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Good communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

10. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and domain-specific requirements.
