3. Execute manual test cases and document defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and detailed observations.

4. Support functional and regression testing cycles to ensure new updates do not impact existing system performance.

5. Work closely with developers to clarify defects, verify fixes, and retest applications to ensure quality standards are maintained.

6. Follow SDLC and software testing processes strictly to ensure consistency, traceability, and quality compliance across projects.

7. Participate in team discussions and provide feedback regarding potential usability improvements or quality enhancements.

8. Maintain organized documentation of executed test cases, defect logs, and testing reports for transparency and future reference.

9. Learn and apply best practices in manual testing methodologies and gradually build expertise in testing tools and frameworks.

10. Demonstrate continuous improvement by enhancing technical knowledge, communication skills, and professional conduct within the team environment.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.

2. Basic knowledge of software testing concepts, including functional testing, regression testing, and defect reporting.

3. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with structured development and testing processes.

4. Basic programming knowledge in Java, with an understanding of fundamental coding concepts and logic building.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying software inconsistencies.

6. Good verbal and written communication skills to document issues clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.

7. Willingness to learn new tools, testing methodologies, and adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced IT environment.

8. Familiarity with manual testing tools or defect tracking systems is an added advantage.

9. Basic understanding of databases or SQL concepts for validating backend data during testing.
