Job Description:
Verisys Corporation is hiring a Quality Engineer for its Hyderabad team to support the development of secure, scalable, and high-performing healthcare technology solutions. As a leader in transforming provider data, workforce data, and relationship management, Verisys serves over 400 healthcare and life science organizations across the United States. This role is designed for professionals with strong expertise in test automation, Agile methodologies, and API testing who can contribute to delivering reliable and compliant digital products in a mission-critical healthcare environment.

In this position, you will design, develop, and implement automated tests within an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) framework. You will work extensively with Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and similar automation tools to validate web and mobile applications as well as SOAP and REST APIs. Integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins will be a core responsibility. The role also includes mentoring team members in automation best practices, reviewing automation solutions, and engineering advanced reporting metrics to improve test visibility and quality standards.

Beyond technical execution, the Quality Engineer at Verisys will collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to drive quality ownership across the software development lifecycle. The role demands strong analytical thinking, proactive risk identification, and the ability to influence change within Agile teams. Experience in healthcare domain systems, TDD practices, and system testing tools will be an added advantage. Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts in an ATDD environment using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.

2. Develop automation solutions for web and mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive functional and regression coverage.

3. Perform API automation testing for SOAP and REST services, validating request-response accuracy and data integrity.

4. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins for continuous validation.

5. Mentor junior testers and guide teams in automation best practices and SDET principles.

6. Review automation code and solutions to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and quality benchmarks.

7. Engineer automated test reporting and metrics dashboards to provide actionable quality insights.

8. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve development quality.

9. Identify risks, escalate potential impediments proactively, and drive resolution for quality-related issues.

10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including optimization of automation frameworks and testing strategies.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.

2. Minimum 4+ years of experience in developing and implementing test automation solutions.

3. At least 2 years of hands-on experience working within Agile development methodologies.

4. Strong experience in Selenium with Java for automation of web applications.

5. Proven expertise in automating web and mobile applications across multiple platforms.

6. Hands-on experience in API test automation for SOAP and REST services.

7. Experience working within CI/CD environments such as Jenkins for automated execution and reporting.

8. Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to drive accountability across teams.

9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive risk identification capabilities.

10. Preferred: Knowledge of Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), TDD methodologies (JUnit, NUnit), and US Healthcare domain exposure.

Expected Salary:

For a Quality Engineer with 4–6 years of automation testing experience in Hyderabad, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹10 LPA to ₹18 LPA depending on expertise in Selenium, API automation, and CI/CD integration. Compensation may vary based on domain exposure, particularly within healthcare technology systems, and overall technical proficiency.
