ICE – QA Analyst

Job Description

ICE is seeking a skilled QA Analyst in Hyderabad to support high-quality software delivery within its technology division. This in-office role requires close collaboration with Systems Analysts, Development teams, and Project Managers to translate business and product requirements into comprehensive testing strategies. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for building and reviewing test scenarios, executing both manual and automated test cases, and ensuring reliability across financial-grade applications.

At Intercontinental Exchange, quality engineering is essential to maintaining secure, high-performance financial platforms. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test frameworks while writing end-to-end integration tests using JavaScript and TypeScript. You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, perform API testing with tools like Postman and SoapUI, and validate database operations using PostgreSQL or other SQL-based systems.

This position demands strong analytical and debugging skills, particularly within authentication and security environments involving SSO, SAML, OpenID, and OAuth2. Roles & Responsibilities

• Review business and system requirements to build and enhance automated and manual test frameworks.

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies using ALM and related test management tools.

• Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end integration tests using JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous testing.

• Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, or similar RESTful web service tools.

• Create and manage test datasets for PostgreSQL/SQL databases and validate data accuracy.

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to ensure scalable and repeatable testing processes.

• Perform debugging and root cause analysis for defects identified during testing cycles.

• Validate authentication and authorization flows using SSO, SAML, OpenID, and OAuth2 protocols.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely defect resolution and product stability.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience in application development and testing, preferably within the financial industry.

• Strong expertise in SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and database testing.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and ReadyAPI.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Working knowledge of Git or Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development.

• Familiarity with security protocols including SSO, Federation, SAML, OpenID, and OAuth2.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions clearly.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.

Expected Salary

For a QA Analyst role at ICE in Hyderabad, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹12 LPA and ₹20 LPA, depending on experience in financial systems, automation frameworks, and security testing expertise.
