Job Description

Cognizant is hiring a Sr. Test Analyst in Hyderabad to support mission-critical healthcare systems involving EDI standards and Facets Claims and Billing platforms. This hybrid role is designed for experienced QA professionals with 8–10 years of expertise in healthcare domain testing, particularly in claims processing and billing workflows. As a senior member of the testing team, you will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency for enterprise healthcare clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for EDI standards and Facets Claims & Billing systems.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive requirement coverage.

• Analyze test outcomes, identify defects, and coordinate timely resolution with development teams.

• Maintain updated test documentation aligned with evolving system functionality.

• Leverage automated testing tools to improve coverage, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Participate in requirement and design review meetings to assess testability and quality considerations.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare industry standards and testing best practices.

• Monitor and report testing progress, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and resolving critical issues.

• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 8–10 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Strong expertise in EDI standards (such as X12 transactions) within healthcare environments.

• Hands-on experience with Facets Claims and Billing systems.

• Proficiency in automated testing tools and structured QA methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Understanding of program management principles and project lifecycle processes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

• Detail-oriented approach with strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

• Experience supporting UAT and enterprise system deployments.

• Ability to work effectively in hybrid work models with day shifts.

Expected Salary
