Barclays is looking for a driven and detail-oriented NFT Software Tester - Automation to join their cutting-edge technology team based in Pune. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing robust non-functional test (NFT) strategies across a range of banking and digital services. You'll be responsible for managing and improving performance testing frameworks, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline, and ensuring Barclays continues to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions across its enterprise.

As an NFT Software Tester, you’ll work alongside passionate developers, DevOps engineers, analysts, and product owners to optimize performance, ensure scalability, and deliver customer-centric digital experiences. Roles & Responsibilities

• ✅ Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance and load test plans using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling

• ✅ Develop automated test scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript to ensure high coverage

• ✅ Perform bottleneck analysis and work on infrastructure tuning in collaboration with DevOps and cloud teams

• ✅ Integrate test automation seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance testing

• ✅ Utilize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace for real-time performance insights

• ✅ Analyze system performance data and identify root causes of issues to assist development teams in resolution

• ✅ Support cloud-native performance testing in AWS or Azure, including auto-scaling validation

• ✅ Contribute to security testing initiatives, ensuring application resilience against vulnerabilities

• ✅ Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve user experience through reliable backend systems

• ✅ Stay updated on the latest in performance testing, security testing, and DevOps practices

Requirements & Eligibility

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

• 🛠 Hands-on experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or K6

• 💻 Programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript

• 🧪 Knowledge of APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace) and performance tuning

• ☁️ Experience with cloud-based testing using AWS or Azure

• 🔐 Exposure to security testing tools and OWASP best practices

• 🔄 Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD

• 🏦 Familiarity with banking/financial services applications and compliance requirements is a plus

• 🤝 Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

Expected Salary for This Role
