Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI and machine learning services that support Nike’s enterprise data platforms and analytics systems.
• Build APIs, SDKs, and microservices that enable secure and high-performance enterprise applications across multiple business domains.
• Develop AI-powered workflows and intelligent enterprise applications using modern software engineering practices and cloud-native technologies.
• Create user-facing applications and internal tools using front-end frameworks such as React, Streamlit, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and analytics teams to deliver impactful and scalable technology solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability standards, and deployment best practices for cloud applications.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering quality practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability across distributed systems and cloud environments.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis to manage enterprise-scale data storage and retrieval operations efficiently.
• Contribute to agile development processes, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong coding expertise in Python.
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and scalable backend development principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS), and cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Streamlit is preferred.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and CI/CD workflows for modern software delivery.
• Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), GitOps workflows, and software dependency management tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, Okta, or Single Sign-On systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools, logging frameworks, monitoring systems, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in cross-functional environments.
