Job Description

Netcore is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join its quality engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of Netcore’s web-based platforms through comprehensive testing strategies. The position focuses on both manual and automation testing, enabling the delivery of high-quality digital products used by global businesses. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with development teams, product managers, and technical program managers to validate application behavior and maintain high product standards.

The role involves designing and executing detailed test cases covering UI validation, functional testing, API testing, integration testing, and regression testing. You will ensure that applications function correctly across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems while validating backend APIs and analytics integrations. By analyzing application behavior and identifying defects early in the development lifecycle, you will help ensure stable and efficient software releases.

Additionally, the QA Engineer will contribute to building and improving automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and reduce manual effort. You will develop automation scripts using tools such as Selenium and Java while integrating testing pipelines into CI/CD workflows. The role also includes exploring innovative testing tools and frameworks, including AI-driven QA solutions, to improve testing accuracy and automation coverage. Working in a collaborative engineering environment, you will help ensure seamless product releases and exceptional user experiences.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed test cases covering user interface, functional behavior, integration testing, and API validation.

  • Perform testing across staging and production environments to ensure smooth customer onboarding integrations.

  • Validate website analytics and event tracking systems to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent application performance across multiple platforms.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for UI and API testing using frameworks such as Selenium.

  • Convert manual test cases into automated scripts to improve testing efficiency and reduce repetitive testing tasks.

  • Analyze automation execution results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects with detailed logs and documentation.

  • Build proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate new testing frameworks, tools, and automation strategies.

  • Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment reliability and release cycles.

  • Collaborate with developers, technical program managers, and product teams to ensure successful product releases.


Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 3–5 years of experience in software testing including both manual and automation testing for web-based applications.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including regression testing, sanity testing, and integration testing.

  • Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured.

  • Strong programming knowledge in Java with Selenium for automation framework development.

  • Familiarity with modern automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress and basic knowledge of JavaScript.

  • Experience designing or contributing to test automation frameworks and improving test strategies.

  • Exposure to AI-driven QA tools such as Cursor AI or similar automation assistants.

  • Basic knowledge of Git version control systems and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

  • Strong analytical and debugging skills to analyze automation failures and system defects.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills required for working within Agile development teams.


Expected Salary

The typical salary for a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in SaaS and product-based technology companies in India generally ranges between β‚Ή10 LPA to β‚Ή18 LPA, depending on automation expertise, knowledge of testing frameworks, and experience with CI/CD integration.
