Job Description
Luxoft is hiring a Senior QA Engineer specializing in Automation, Manual Testing, and AI-driven workflows to join its engineering team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of a cloud-based high-performance analytics platform used within the capital markets industry. The platform processes and analyzes large volumes of financial data to support enterprise clients and financial analysts. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating complex data pipelines, analytics workflows, and front-end interfaces to ensure that the system functions accurately and efficiently.
In this position, you will play a critical role in developing and executing testing strategies across multiple layers of the platform, including UI interfaces, API services, and backend data processing pipelines. The role involves both manual testing and automation development using modern testing frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers to validate new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all software releases meet strict quality and performance standards.
Additionally, the role requires active participation in building and improving automation frameworks that integrate with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. You will contribute to defining quality engineering practices, improving test coverage, and reducing test execution time. By working on cutting-edge financial analytics systems and AI-driven workflows, you will help deliver a highly reliable platform capable of processing large-scale financial datasets while maintaining high standards of performance, security, and data accuracy.
Roles & Responsibilities

Perform detailed manual testing across web interfaces, APIs, and data processing workflows to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics platforms handling large financial datasets.

Analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria to design effective test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright with TypeScript.

Build end-to-end automated test scenarios that validate complex workflows spanning multiple services and system components.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodeBuild to support continuous testing.

Validate data transformations and analytical processing workflows to ensure accurate financial calculations and insights.

Conduct regression testing, exploratory testing, and integration testing to verify application functionality after updates or feature enhancements.

Collaborate with developers, product teams, and AI engineers to clarify system behavior and ensure high-quality feature implementation.

Participate in root-cause analysis of defects and system incidents, identifying underlying problems and improving test coverage to prevent recurrence.

Contribute to QA strategy by defining quality metrics, improving test stability, and optimizing automation frameworks for better reliability and execution speed.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a QA Engineer in roles involving both manual and automation testing.

Strong experience testing client-server applications and modern web-based platforms using industry-standard testing methodologies.

Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright with TypeScript.

Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or automated API testing frameworks.

Good understanding of software testing lifecycle, quality assurance processes, and agile development methodologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control systems, and automated testing integration within build pipelines.

Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS, including managing testing environments and deployments.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate complex workflows and handle large datasets used in analytics systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in agile development environments.

Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and improve overall system quality through better testing strategies.
