Job Description
NatWest Group is hiring a Test Analyst to join its Technology Quality team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to delivering high-quality digital banking solutions by performing automated testing and supporting continuous integration practices. As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that applications and platforms developed within the organization meet strict quality standards and operate reliably in production environments. This role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative Agile environment while contributing to the transformation of software testing processes within the organization.
The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing strategies that align with business and program objectives. You will work closely with feature teams, product managers, and technology stakeholders to ensure that testing is integrated across the entire software development lifecycle. By leveraging modern automation tools and intelligent testing approaches, you will help ensure that applications are delivered with minimal defects and high performance across different systems and environments.
Additionally, the Test Analyst will help build reusable automation frameworks and testing solutions that improve efficiency and reduce time to market. The role involves collaborating with cross-domain teams to ensure quality assurance practices are implemented consistently across multiple projects and systems. By applying strong testing methodologies and automation techniques, you will contribute to building reliable and scalable banking technology platforms that deliver secure and seamless digital experiences for customers.
Roles & Responsibilities

Design and implement automated testing strategies aligned with business objectives and software development goals.

Develop automated test scripts and frameworks that support end-to-end testing across enterprise systems.

Collaborate with feature teams to determine the scope of manual and automated testing required for new product releases.

Execute automated and manual tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.

Build and maintain reusable test automation frameworks that support multiple systems and applications.

Ensure quality standards are integrated across the entire product development lifecycle.

Identify defects, track issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve technical problems.

Apply modern testing tools and methodologies to enhance test coverage and reduce testing time.

Work closely with stakeholders to communicate testing progress, risks, and results.

Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated testing pipelines.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience working with automation testing frameworks and automated testing tools.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and working within Agile teams.

Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.

Experience designing and implementing automation testing frameworks for enterprise applications.

Knowledge of end-to-end testing strategies and automation testing techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying defects and improving test coverage.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality engineers.

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively within distributed teams.
Expected Salary
The typical salary for a Test Analyst or Automation Test Engineer in large financial institutions in India generally ranges between ₹10 LPA to ₹20 LPA, depending on experience, automation testing expertise, and familiarity with Agile and CI/CD environments.
