Job Description

Accenture is hiring a Technology Platform Engineer to join its Packaged Application Development team in India. This role is designed for early-career technology professionals who are interested in working with cloud platforms, automation tools, and enterprise software development technologies. As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and managing cloud-based environments that support application development and deployment. The role provides an opportunity to work on modern cloud infrastructure while contributing to automation pipelines that improve efficiency in software delivery processes.

In this position, you will collaborate with development teams and cloud engineers to design and configure production and non-production environments for enterprise applications. The role involves deploying automation pipelines, configuring infrastructure components, and ensuring that development and testing environments are reliable and scalable. By leveraging programming skills in Java and understanding cloud computing platforms, you will support the deployment of applications across distributed systems and cloud-based infrastructure.

Additionally, the Technology Platform Engineer will participate in troubleshooting and optimizing cloud environments to ensure system stability and performance. The role offers hands-on exposure to DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and containerized infrastructure technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. By working in a collaborative environment and contributing to innovative technology projects, you will develop strong technical skills while supporting enterprise-scale cloud application platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and manage production and non-production cloud environments that support enterprise software development and application deployment processes.

• Deploy and maintain automation pipelines that streamline environment setup, configuration, and application deployment workflows.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure is properly configured and optimized for application performance.

• Write and maintain code using Java to support platform development and integration with enterprise systems.

• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to cloud environments, deployment pipelines, and system configurations.

• Participate in technical discussions and problem-solving sessions to identify solutions that improve system efficiency and reliability.

• Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management, including automation, monitoring, and configuration management.

• Support containerized application deployments using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Work with version control systems such as Git to manage source code and maintain development workflows.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize cloud platforms and deployment processes.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 15 years of full-time education.

• 0–2 years of experience in software development or cloud platform engineering roles.

• Strong programming knowledge in Java for developing enterprise applications and supporting platform automation.

• Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting techniques used in DevOps and cloud environment management.

• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying scalable applications.

• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git used for collaborative software development.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving technical issues in cloud environments.

• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and participate in technical discussions.

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies in cloud computing and DevOps.
