Job Description

Kautex is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineers to join its Information Technology division in Mylasandra, India. As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s IT operations, ensuring smooth performance across manufacturing, quality, and enterprise-level systems. This role is designed for candidates who are eager to start their professional journey in IT, offering hands-on exposure to global systems and practices while working in a highly collaborative environment.

This position focuses on maintaining IT manufacturing systems, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting business-critical processes. You will work on IT ticket management, system maintenance, documentation, and governance alignment while engaging with leaders and cross-functional teams. The role is not only technical but also requires strong communication, customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities to deliver high-quality IT support across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, implementing, and enforcing IT standards aligned with Kautex’s global processes and governance.

• Work closely with IT leaders to develop and maintain quality systems and ensure compliance across projects.

• Manage IT service tickets through ServiceNow, providing timely resolutions and customer-focused support.

• Perform run-and-maintain activities for IT manufacturing applications including BCAQ, QDAS, Calvin, EAM, and PowerApps.

• Ensure enterprise security by conforming to IT governance standards and conducting training for non-IT personnel.

• Evaluate system performance and recommend changes or upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Execute technology solutions with minimal downtime, ensuring smooth business operations.

• Create, review, and update procedural documents, method statements, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.

• Partner with the IT manufacturing team to identify business needs and design tailored IT solutions.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.

• Exposure to multiple operating systems such as Windows and Linux/Unix for practical IT support.

• Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, SQL) will be an added advantage.

• Awareness of incident management processes and strong problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on experience in end-user support and troubleshooting is a plus.

• Strong communication abilities with fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• A team-oriented mindset with customer-centric thinking and the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Competencies such as planning, organizational skills, and presentation skills to manage multiple priorities.

The expected salary for a Graduate Engineer at Kautex in India typically ranges between ₹3.5 LPA to ₹5.5 LPA depending on qualifications, technical exposure, and interview performance.
