Job Description

The Software Application Development Apprenticeship at Google is a structured program designed to provide aspiring software developers with hands-on experience in building scalable applications. Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate software functionality.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to apply innovative solutions.

• Document software designs, processes, and user guides for future reference.

• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.

• Provide support during the software release cycle, including post-release monitoring and issue resolution.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Less than 1 year of experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Java, C++, or Python.

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.

• Applicants should not have been enrolled in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs.

• Applicants must have their Aadhaar number linked to their active mobile number and have a personal email ID. This is a mandatory requirement for registration and verification.
