Role Overview
As an SDET-2, you’ll own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks that ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our web, mobile, and API services. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous quality improvements across our product stack.
Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development: Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.

Test Planning & Execution: Define test strategies and detailed plans; execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests.

CI/CD Integration: Embed automated tests into Jenkins/GitLab CI pipelines; monitor builds and debug failures.

Defect Analysis & RCA: Identify, document, and conduct root-cause analysis of defects; drive rapid remediation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, DevOps, and security teams to align quality with business goals.

Performance & Security Testing: Design and execute load, stress, and vulnerability tests to uncover bottlenecks and risks.

Process Improvement & Mentorship: Champion best practices in test automation; coach junior SDETs and QA engineers.
What We’re Looking For
-
4–6 years as an SDET or QA automation engineer with strong backend testing focus; mobile testing experience is a plus.

Proficiency in Python (preferred) or equivalent automation language.

Hands-on with microservices, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), including Kubernetes.

Solid debugging skills in Linux environments and experience with shell scripting.

Proven track record of integrating test suites into CI/CD workflows.

Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
