Job Description

Test Case Design: Develop and execute test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of software applications across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.
Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
Automation (Optional): Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (if applicable).
User Experience Testing: Evaluate the user experience to ensure that the application meets the user’s expectations.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, testing life cycle, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc. (preferred but not mandatory).
Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
