About the Role
As an SDET Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in software development and testing while contributing to real product features and workflows. You will collaborate closely with developers and senior QA engineers, building a strong foundation in automation, debugging, and test design. This role is ideal for those looking to grow into Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests across UI, API, and integration layers.

Collaborate with mentors to review product requirements and understand testing needs.

Identify gaps in test coverage, reduce flakiness, and improve overall product reliability.

Support manual validation of new features and regression runs alongside automated tests.

Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand workflows and verify functionality.
Requirements

Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript/Node.js preferred; Python, Java, or similar also accepted).

Curiosity about how systems work and a willingness to learn automation.

Familiarity with at least one testing or scripting framework (Playwright, Selenium, Jest, PyTest, etc.).

Understanding of software testing fundamentals including test cases, assertions, and debugging basics.

Eagerness to learn new tools and contribute quickly in a fast-paced product environment.
