Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the development and testing of embedded systems across energy, rail, and marine domains.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in controls, IoT, engine management, and diagnostics to design intelligent solutions.

  • Contribute to Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing processes for advanced power systems.

  • Design, implement, and maintain test cases and automation scripts to improve system validation efficiency.

  • Work with simulation tools and industry communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and XCP.

  • Assist in the setup and development of ECU diagnostics test benches integrating Industry 4.0 best practices.

  • Conduct market and technical research to identify emerging trends and best practices in embedded engineering.

  • Perform trend analysis to support evaluation of future growth opportunities within Rolls-Royce Power Systems.

  • Identify and recommend process improvement strategies for software development and testing workflows.

  • Contribute to project documentation and maintain open communication across technical teams.


Requirements & Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

  • Solid understanding of Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or Electronics fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python for embedded applications.

  • Exposure to diesel engines, power products, or control systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse, global teams.

  • Passion for innovation, curiosity about digitalization, and interest in IoT-based automation.
