YASH Technologies: Test Lead – Cypress + Selenium

Overview

YASH Technologies, a leading digital transformation and technology services provider, is looking for an experienced Test Lead (Cypress + Selenium) to join its QA Automation team in Pune. This role offers the opportunity to lead automation initiatives across UI, API, and performance testing, using cutting-edge frameworks like Cypress, Puppeteer, Cucumber, and JMeter.

As a Test Lead, you will play a key role in defining automation strategies, maintaining test coverage, and ensuring the reliability of microservices and web applications across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Leadership:

  • Lead and manage automation initiatives for UI, API, and performance testing.

  • Maintain robust integration and functional test coverage across releases.

• UI Automation:

  • Hands-on experience in Cypress, Puppeteer, or Protractor (preferably with Golang).

  • Work with TypeScript and JavaScript for front-end automation.

• API Testing:

  • Create and maintain API automation tests using Cucumber (Java), SoapUI, or Postman.

  • Validate RESTful APIs and microservices integrations.

• Performance Testing:

  • Use JMeter or similar tools for performance and load testing.

• Framework & Tooling Expertise:

  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress/Selenium and Golang.

  • Review and improve API documentation and test strategies.

• Agile & DevOps Collaboration:

  • Work in Agile teams, participating in sprints, planning, and continuous integration.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for automated deployments.

• Cloud & Dev Tools:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments.

  • Proficiency with Google DevTools for debugging and analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

• 🎓 Education: BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA

• 🧠 Experience: Minimum 6 years in automation testing and QA leadership

• 💻 Core Skills:

  • UI: Cypress, Puppeteer, Protractor, Selenium

  • API: Cucumber (Java), Postman, SoapUI

  • Performance: JMeter

  • Programming: Golang, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js

  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Google DevTools

• 🔄 Methodologies: Agile, DevOps, CI/CD

• 🌐 Systems Knowledge: Angular applications, REST APIs

Preferred Attributes

• Strong understanding of automation architecture and test lifecycle management.

• Ability to build reference applications for validating microservices.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Expected Salary

Typical range for this position: ₹15.0 LPA – ₹22.0 LPA, depending on experience in automation frameworks, Golang scripting, and cloud-based testing exposure.
