Roles & Responsibilities

• 🧪 Design and execute manual and automated test cases across various web-based applications

• 🔄 Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle

• 🧠 Understand complex business requirements and translate them into robust test plans

• ⚙️ Develop and maintain automation frameworks, particularly using Cypress and JavaScript

• 🔍 Conduct post-release and regression testing to ensure bug-free rollouts

• 🛠️ Analyze test results, debug failures, and perform root-cause analysis

• 📊 Participate in test strategy discussions and provide feedback to enhance usability and functionality

• 📃 Review requirement documents for accuracy and completeness

• 🌐 Engage in API testing and contribute toward a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment

Requirements & Eligibility

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance

• Proficiency in writing automation scripts using Cypress and JavaScript

• Strong background in software testing methodologies, test case creation, and Agile processes

• Familiarity with various levels of testing including system integration, performance, regression, and UAT

• Prior experience with API testing tools and debugging backend interfaces

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of accountability

• Exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) is an added advantage

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred
