Job Description:
GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and trusted digital engineering partner to global enterprises, is hiring an Associate Consultant – Integration Testing for its Pune location under a hybrid work model. This role is designed for experienced QA professionals with 5–10 years of expertise in API testing and UI testing. As part of the Engineering function, you will contribute to validating system integrations, ensuring seamless communication between services, and maintaining high-quality digital product releases. The position requires strong hands-on experience with Postman or SoapUI for API validation and robust defect tracking using QTest and JIRA.

In this role, you will focus on integration testing across complex enterprise systems, ensuring APIs and user interfaces function cohesively. You will design and create structured test cases in QTest, manage defects and feature tracking in JIRA, and validate end-to-end workflows across interconnected platforms. UI testing will involve validating business logic, user flows, and responsiveness to ensure optimal user experience. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying integration gaps, tracking issues to closure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive stable and scalable product deployments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design and execute integration test strategies to validate seamless communication between APIs, backend systems, and user interfaces.

2. Perform API testing using Postman or SoapUI to verify request/response structures, authentication flows, and data accuracy.

3. Develop and maintain detailed test cases in QTest, ensuring traceability and structured test coverage.

4. Log, track, and manage defects and feature enhancements using JIRA, ensuring proper lifecycle management and resolution tracking.

5. Conduct UI testing to validate functionality, workflows, and user experience across web applications.

6. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

7. Analyze test outcomes, identify integration gaps, and provide actionable feedback for system improvements.

8. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

9. Provide quality sign-offs for releases after comprehensive validation and regression testing.

10. Continuously improve testing processes by recommending automation opportunities and enhanced test coverage strategies.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. 5–10 years of experience in software testing with strong focus on integration, API, and UI testing.

2. Hands-on expertise in API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI for validating REST and SOAP services.

3. Strong background in QTest for test case creation, management, and traceability.

4. Proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking, feature management, and reporting.

5. Solid understanding of integration testing methodologies and end-to-end validation strategies.

6. Experience in UI testing to ensure functional accuracy and optimal user experience.

7. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaborative team environments.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes of integration failures.

9. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

10. Ability to work in a hybrid work model from Pune while managing deliverables independently and collaboratively.

Expected Salary:
