WN Infotech is looking for a meticulous and passionate E-Commerce QA Tester to join its quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that every feature of our e-commerce platform performs flawlessly — from browsing products to completing a successful payment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, troubleshoot, and validate the entire shopping experience, helping to deliver a smooth, secure, and engaging journey for customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in testing e-commerce workflows. You will be responsible for identifying defects, validating integrations, and ensuring that updates and new features do not disrupt existing functionalities. Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows, including product catalog, search filters, shopping cart, checkout, payment gateways, and post-purchase order tracking.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand business requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies.

• Execute both manual and automated tests across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure a consistent user experience.

• Identify, document, and prioritize defects with detailed reproduction steps and communicate findings to the development team for timely resolution.

• Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Perform regression testing after new releases or updates to verify that existing functionality is not impacted.

• Validate third-party integrations including payment processors, analytics tools, and APIs, ensuring seamless platform connectivity.

• Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under different traffic conditions.

• Generate detailed test reports and quality metrics, presenting results to stakeholders and suggesting improvements.

• Participate actively in team meetings, reviews, and brainstorming sessions to enhance overall quality standards.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on e-commerce applications.

• Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman and ability to validate backend processes.

• Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser developer tools for debugging UI issues.

• Ability to write and execute SQL queries to verify data consistency and accuracy.

• Exposure to performance/load testing tools such as JMeter is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus and will be considered favorably.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for an E-Commerce QA Tester at WN Infotech typically ranges between ₹4.5 LPA and ₹10 LPA, based on experience, skill set, and proficiency with automation tools. Freelance and contractual positions may be compensated on a project basis, while full-time roles often include additional perks and benefits.
