Job Description:

Infosys Limited is looking for an experienced SAP Testing Consultant to join its Quality Engineering service line across PAN India locations. This role is designed for professionals who can bridge business needs and technical testing strategies within complex SAP landscapes. As part of the Infosys consulting team, you will analyze client challenges, diagnose root causes, and design innovative SAP testing solutions that ensure seamless digital transformation. Your expertise will play a vital role in validating SAP functional and technical modules, enabling enterprises to deploy stable, scalable, and high-performing SAP systems.

In this position, you will actively participate in solution design, proposal development, and proof-of-concept workshops for SAP testing engagements. You will plan and execute configuration activities, conduct conference room pilots, and ensure that solutions align with both customer requirements and organizational quality standards. With exposure to SAP modules such as SAP Ariba, SAP EAM, SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP SD, SAP EWM, SAP CAR, and SAP Workflow, you will deliver comprehensive functional and automated testing strategies that strengthen enterprise operations and minimize business risks.

Beyond execution, this consulting role requires client-facing expertise and strategic thinking. You will assess existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend technology-driven testing solutions. By leveraging automated testing tools, SAP package testing expertise, and industry best practices, you will help clients optimize performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and accelerate SAP S/4HANA and cloud transformation journeys.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Analyze client requirements and design end-to-end SAP testing strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and automation testing.

2. Lead and execute SAP package testing across modules such as SAP Ariba, SAP EAM, SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP SD, SAP SCM EWM, SAP WMS, and SAP CAR.

3. Develop and contribute to proposal documents, providing solution design inputs aligned with business and financial objectives.

4. Plan configuration activities, conduct conference room pilots, and support resolution of requirement and design-related queries.

5. Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) workshops, and prepare accurate effort estimations aligned with client budgets.

6. Implement automated testing strategies using tools such as Worksoft and other SAP automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.

7. Assess existing business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend technology-driven enhancements.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment and high-quality deliverables.

9. Manage small projects and contribute to organizational initiatives focused on quality engineering excellence.

10. Ensure adherence to software configuration management practices and maintain testing documentation in line with industry standards.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification with strong exposure to SAP functional and technical modules.

2. 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Testing, including automated testing and SAP package testing environments.

3. Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP Ariba, SAP EAM, SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP SD, SAP SCM EWM, SAP MM, SAP BRIM, and SAP CAR.

4. Experience with SAP technical components including SAP Workflow, SAP Ariba on Cloud, SAP C4HANA, and S/4HANA landscapes.

5. Proficiency in automated testing methodologies and tools, including Worksoft or other SAP automation frameworks.

6. Good understanding of software configuration management systems and version control practices.

7. Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills with the ability to design value-creating solutions.

8. Experience in client interfacing, stakeholder management, and presenting solutions effectively.

9. Awareness of industry trends, pricing models, and financial processes in large-scale SAP projects.

10. Ability to manage small teams or project components while delivering high-quality, value-driven consulting services.

Expected Salary:

For a SAP Testing Consultant with 5–7 years of experience at Infosys across PAN India locations, the average salary typically ranges between ₹10 LPA to ₹18 LPA depending on SAP module expertise, automation exposure, and consulting experience. Candidates with strong S/4HANA knowledge, Worksoft automation skills, and client-facing consulting background may receive compensation toward the higher end of industry benchmarks.
