Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java for web applications.

• Build and execute API automation tests using the Karate framework for REST services.

• Perform basic SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure database accuracy.

• Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and product owners to gather requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks for better scalability, stability, and reusability.

• Participate in defect triage meetings, provide inputs, and support root cause analysis.

• Document detailed test cases, execution results, and defect reports in test management tools.

• Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies and automation practices.

• Support regression testing cycles by automating frequently used scenarios.

• Stay updated with emerging test frameworks and bring innovative practices into automation projects.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for UI automation.

• Proven expertise in using the Karate framework for REST API automation testing.

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation in backend systems.

• Good knowledge of testing methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git for collaborative development.

• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work across distributed teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), BDD/TDD concepts, and frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
