Job Description

Zycus is hiring a Trainee Procurement Analyst to join its dynamic Presales team in Mumbai, supporting enterprise clients across the US region. As a global leader in SaaS-based Source-to-Pay (S2P) procurement software, Zycus empowers Fortune 1000 organizations to transform procurement operations through automation, compliance, and AI-driven insights. As part of the Presales and Consulting stream, you will collaborate closely with field teams, delivery experts, and global customers to design tailored procurement solutions. The role involves requirement elicitation, business process mapping, solution strategy alignment, and preparation of case studies based on real-world engagements. You will support product demonstrations, prepare business proposals, and contribute to building a center of excellence within the consulting practice. This position provides hands-on exposure to leading S2P platforms, SaaS environments, and supply chain transformation initiatives—making it an ideal launchpad for a long-term career in procurement technology, business consulting, and enterprise software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Field Presales teams to design and deliver business and technical solutions aligned with client procurement objectives and enterprise transformation goals.

2. Participate in requirement elicitation workshops, analyze client procurement workflows, and map business requirements to Zycus’ Source-to-Pay suite of offerings.

3. Support solution strategy development by working closely with delivery teams to ensure accurate implementation alignment and customer satisfaction.

4. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential opportunities, showcasing the value proposition of SaaS procurement solutions.

5. Prepare detailed case studies, engagement summaries, and best practice documentation to strengthen the consulting knowledge base.

6. Assist in creating proposals and response documents that address client challenges and highlight measurable business outcomes.

7. Contribute to the development of a consulting center of excellence by sharing insights, frameworks, and process improvements.

8. Enhance domain expertise by attending seminars, webinars, and professional training sessions related to procurement, SaaS, and supply chain technologies.

9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication between presales, product, and delivery units for successful client engagements.

10. Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and professional stakeholder management.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or MBA from a reputed institution, preferably with specialization in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Analytics.

2. 0–3 years of relevant experience in procurement consulting, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software environments; freshers with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

3. Hands-on exposure to S2P or P2P platforms such as Coupa, iValua, GEP, Icertis, Apttus, or similar procurement solutions is highly desirable.

4. Strong understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) models, including cloud-based delivery, subscription licensing, and enterprise solution deployment.

5. Good knowledge of supply chain and procurement domain concepts including sourcing, contract management, invoicing, and supplier management.

6. Proficiency in advanced MS Word and MS Project, with the ability to create structured documentation, reports, and project artifacts.

7. Familiarity with business process management tools such as Flowable, Activity, or similar workflow-based platforms is an added advantage.

8. Excellent client management and stakeholder communication skills, with confidence in delivering presentations and engaging discussions.

9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business challenges into scalable technology-driven solutions.

10. High level of professionalism, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, global consulting environment.

Expected Salary
