Additionally, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality software in agile environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation test frameworks and scripts using tools such as Playwright, PyTest, XUnit, and JMeter to ensure application stability.
- Perform backend testing and API validation, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of distributed systems and services.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage across applications.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps to enable continuous testing and deployment.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance testing of web and backend applications to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and quality improvements.
- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and improving decision-making processes.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate release cycles.
- Work on performance testing using tools like JMeter and k6, ensuring system stability under different load conditions.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices, bringing innovative ideas to improve QA processes.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong foundational knowledge in software development and testing.
- 8–15 years of experience in automation testing, with strong expertise in backend testing and enterprise-level applications.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing, including designing and implementing automation frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, enabling efficient test script development.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno and strong understanding of RESTful services and backend systems.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter and k6, enabling system benchmarking and optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration of automated testing workflows.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git, including branching strategies and repository management.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

For a senior Automation Testing Engineer with 8–15 years of experience in Mumbai, the typical salary ranges between ₹18 LPA to ₹40 LPA, depending on expertise in automation frameworks, backend testing, and leadership capabilities.
