LexisNexis Risk Solutions is offering an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates to join as Software Engineer I through its prestigious Tech Accelerate Graduate Program in Mumbai. This 12-month structured program is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple domains, including big data, artificial intelligence, site reliability engineering (SRE), DevOps, testing, and security engineering. As a global leader in data analytics and risk solutions, LexisNexis empowers organizations to make informed decisions, and this role allows you to contribute to impactful products across industries such as insurance, healthcare, and government.
During the program, you will rotate across different teams, gaining exposure to various technologies and development environments. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software components while following industry best practices. The role emphasizes learning through real-world projects, enabling you to build strong technical foundations in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, as well as modern software development methodologies. You will also participate in code reviews, debugging, and implementing test-driven development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software components by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in designing system components and contributing to technical specifications for software development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work across different development environments, gaining exposure to diverse technologies and tools used in modern software engineering.
- Perform code reviews and follow best practices in coding standards, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
- Fix bugs and resolve technical issues by analyzing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Apply test-driven development (TDD) principles to ensure reliability and robustness of software applications.
- Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, contributing to scalable and secure applications.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Support the development lifecycle by participating in Agile processes, including sprint planning and team discussions.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with graduation completed or expected before July 2026.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or .NET, with a strong understanding of coding fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, XML, and JSP, along with familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, with exposure to real-world project workflows.
- Knowledge of data modeling principles and data manipulation techniques for handling structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with test-driven development concepts and software testing practices to ensure code quality.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux, along with development environments.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies in a dynamic environment.
