Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium and Python to validate complex web and API applications.

• Design robust test frameworks and automation suites that ensure high test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.

• Participate actively in functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring that all business-critical workflows are validated before release.

• Collaborate with product owners and developers to identify test cases and integrate testing early into the SDLC (Shift-Left approach).

• Conduct detailed defect analysis and root cause investigations, ensuring timely resolution and improved product quality.

• Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to align testing priorities with development goals.

• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, automation frameworks, and test results.

• Apply BDD practices using tools like Cucumber to bridge the gap between technical teams and business requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team by implementing innovative testing solutions and tools.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software testing or development, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC processes.

• Proficiency in Python programming with experience in writing automation scripts and reusable code.

• Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver and exposure to automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar.

• Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SOAP UI.

• Strong command of SQL/PL-SQL for database validation and backend testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, enabling continuous testing and integration.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
