In this role, you will support the implementation and maintenance of quality frameworks—such as CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization)—while ensuring that processes adhere to industry best practices. As an entry-level professional, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct internal audits, drive process improvements, and contribute to the organization’s overall operational excellence.

You will work closely with process owners, project teams, and senior management to identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and ensure continuous compliance. 🧩 Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Audits & Compliance Checks
    • Plan and execute internal audits to assess compliance with defined process standards (CMMI, ISO).
    • Identify gaps in documentation, process adherence, and performance metrics, then recommend corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure audit findings are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Process Improvement & Documentation
    • Review existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or quality risks.
    • Propose and help implement process enhancements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
    • Maintain and update all quality documentation, including audit reports, process manuals, and training materials.

  • Training & Awareness
    • Provide training sessions and workshops to educate employees at all levels on quality standards, process guidelines, and audit expectations.
    • Promote a culture of quality by driving awareness campaigns, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous learning initiatives.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Generate and analyze reports on process performance, defect trends, and compliance status for management review.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of quality initiatives.
    • Present findings and recommendations to executives, project managers, and process owners.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with project teams, delivery managers, and process owners to embed quality checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Act as a liaison between business units and the quality team to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
    • Support external audits, certifications, and client assessments by coordinating documentation and evidence collection.

  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Mitigation
    • Identify root causes of recurring issues and work with teams to implement preventive actions.
    • Monitor risk factors related to process non-compliance and work on mitigation strategies.
    • Foster a mindset of “quality by design” across the organization by integrating quality considerations early in project planning.


🎓 Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Experience:
    • 0–3 years of exposure to quality management, process audits, or process improvement projects—internships and academic projects are considered.
    • Familiarity with CMMI levels (1–5) and ISO 9001/ISO 27001 process frameworks is a plus.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint for reporting.
    • Basic knowledge of audit tools or databases for tracking compliance and corrective actions.

  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to prepare clear, concise audit reports and presentations.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.

  • Desired Certifications (Not Mandatory):
    • CMMI Associate or Practitioner.
    • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor.
    • ISTQB Foundation Level (for those with QA testing exposure).


💰 Estimated Salary Range

  • Monthly Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹65,000

  • Annual CTC: ₹5 LPA – ₹8 LPA
