Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop small system modules or components within large-scale enterprise environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release management, providing valuable feedback for process improvement.

• Implement and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

• Work across distributed systems to integrate cloud-based services into existing platforms.

• Apply modern software development practices such as microservices architecture, CI/CD automation, and serverless computing.

• Engage in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to align with business goals.

• Maintain documentation for design, deployment, and system configurations.

• Leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies for efficient project execution.

• Contribute to team learning by sharing insights, reusable components, and best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 6 months of experience in software programming using Java or Spring Boot.

• Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, OOP concepts, and SDLC.

• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, SVN) and build systems (Maven, Gradle).

• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.

• Working knowledge of Agile environments and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

• Knowledge of microservices, APIs, or modern JDK versions (v1.7+) is an added advantage.

Expected Salary

💰 The typical salary range for an Entry-Level Software Engineer at Equifax (India) is between ₹5 LPA to ₹9 LPA, based on technical proficiency, cloud experience, and project exposure.
