Amazon is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Retail Business Services team, focusing on enhancing global work authorization processes. This role involves analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights, developing automated reporting solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent business acumen, and a customer-centric mindset.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), designing and implementing reporting solutions, and enabling effective decision-making by aggregating data from multiple sources. Your work will directly impact the scalability and efficiency of Amazon’s global operations, particularly in integrating new countries and acquisitions into the existing work authorization program.

✅ Experience Required
Minimum Experience: 3+ years in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.).

Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Business Acumen: Strong ability to define requirements and use data to draw business insights.

Stakeholder Management: Experience in making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst at Amazon, your key responsibilities will include: Data Analysis and Reporting: Retrieve and analyze data from various sources, developing dashboards and reports to support business decisions. KPI Development: Design and implement KPIs to measure and benchmark business performance. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work with stakeholders to implement solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with operations and business teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights. Automation Solutions: Develop and maintain automated reporting systems to streamline business processes. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic discussions to align data insights with business objectives. Documentation: Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to senior management, ensuring clarity and alignment.
