Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute predefined test cases for software builds and application releases while ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures and testing standards.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and repetitive testing activities to validate application behavior and software reliability.
• Identify, document, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues accurately using internal defect management systems.
• Analyze testing outcomes and communicate discrepancies, failures, and observations to relevant teams for timely issue resolution.
• Understand testing guidelines, release procedures, and quality validation processes for new software builds and system updates.
• Utilize software tools and testing platforms to capture data, record results, and maintain testing documentation on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify test scenarios, resolve ambiguities, and ensure smooth execution of testing activities.
• Escalate unresolved issues, testing concerns, and execution-related blockers through appropriate communication channels within defined SLAs.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and efficiency while executing repetitive testing tasks across multiple software releases and updates.
• Generate individual status reports, testing summaries, and progress updates to support project tracking and operational visibility.
• Follow quality standards, operational procedures, and organizational guidelines while contributing to product reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing testing efficiency, defect detection, and software quality assurance.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related discipline from a recognized university.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, quality assurance methodologies, and defect management processes.
• Familiarity with QA testing tools, bug tracking systems, and software validation procedures used in testing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and software defects effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy while executing repetitive test cases and validating software builds.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to report issues clearly and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Ability to follow predefined testing instructions, operational guidelines, and service-level agreements consistently.
• Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), release management, and software deployment concepts is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with data capture tools, reporting systems, and testing platforms in fast-paced operational environments.
• Ability to manage workloads efficiently while meeting productivity, accuracy, and testing deadlines.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies, testing methodologies, and operational processes within Amazon’s technology ecosystem.
• Candidates with internship experience in software testing, quality assurance, or technical support will have an added advantage.
