Job Description:
Skypoint is seeking a passionate and curious AI Engineering Intern to join its innovative team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in AI and ML projects, eager to deepen their knowledge in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI frameworks. The intern will actively contribute to designing, testing, and deploying intelligent systems that have a tangible impact on healthcare organizations. Working alongside expert Data Science and Engineering teams, the intern will gain exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies, including Python, Databricks, Azure, and MLOps practices, while contributing to real-world AI solutions.

In this internship, the AI Engineering Intern will focus on supporting the development and fine-tuning of AI/ML models, preparing datasets, engineering features, and evaluating model performance. The role emphasizes experimentation with advanced AI concepts such as Multi-Agent frameworks, Transformer-based models, and Agentic RAG systems. Interns will collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate models into production environments, ensuring high-quality AI solutions that enhance organizational efficiency. This hands-on experience allows interns to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application in a fast-paced tech environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the development, testing, and fine-tuning of AI/ML models to enhance performance and accuracy.

• Conduct data preparation, cleaning, and feature engineering to ensure high-quality inputs for AI systems.

• Experiment with Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Multi-Agent frameworks to design innovative solutions.

• Contribute to building Agentic RAG and Transformer-based AI applications for real-world deployment.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI models into production pipelines using Azure and Databricks.

• Document research findings, experiments, and model evaluation results for knowledge sharing and improvement.

• Stay updated with the latest AI, ML, and MLOps trends, tools, and technologies.

• Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews to foster creative problem-solving.

• Support the optimization of AI workflows to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

• Assist in implementing best practices in AI model lifecycle management and monitoring.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Strong foundation in Python programming, with hands-on experience in AI/ML projects or research.

• Basic exposure to cloud platforms such as Databricks, Azure, or equivalent for deploying AI solutions.

• Familiarity with Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, and AI orchestration frameworks.

• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, and Generative AI principles.

• Understanding of MLOps tools, workflows, and practices to maintain robust AI pipelines.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and experimentation skills.

• Eagerness to learn and explore cutting-edge AI technologies and techniques.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields is preferred.

• Relevant AI/ML certifications and project experience are an added advantage.

• Must be a recent graduate or final-year student available to commit to a 6-month full-time internship in Bangalore.

Expected Salary:
The AI Engineering Internship at Skypoint offers a competitive stipend, aligned with industry standards for technical internships in India. Interns can expect to earn between ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 per month, depending on prior experience and demonstrated skills.
