Arya Team is looking for a passionate Frontend Engineer Intern to join its on-site engineering team in Bengaluru. This internship offers hands-on exposure to modern frontend development using React, Next.js, and TypeScript within a production-grade environment. As a Frontend Engineering Intern, you will work closely with experienced developers to build scalable web applications, create reusable UI components, and contribute to shared design systems. In this role, you will implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using Tailwind CSS while leveraging Next.js App Router for page routing and layout management. Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Build reusable and maintainable React components using modern hooks, state management patterns, and lifecycle best practices.

2. Implement pages, layouts, and routing logic using Next.js App Router while distinguishing between client and server components effectively.

3. Develop responsive, mobile-first UI designs using Tailwind CSS to ensure cross-device compatibility and consistent styling.

4. Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, handling asynchronous data fetching, loading states, and error management efficiently.

5. Write clean and strongly typed TypeScript code using interfaces, generics, and proper type definitions to ensure scalability.

6. Contribute to shared component libraries and maintain design consistency across the application.

7. Participate actively in code reviews, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve code quality and readability.

8. Collaborate with backend developers and product teams to implement new features and improve user experience.

9. Maintain Git best practices including branching strategies, pull requests, and rebasing workflows.

10. Optimize frontend performance by improving rendering efficiency, reducing unnecessary re-renders, and enhancing page load speed.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Strong understanding of React fundamentals including hooks, component lifecycle, conditional rendering, and state management techniques.

2. Familiarity with Next.js, particularly App Router concepts, layouts, pages, and client versus server components.

3. Proficiency in TypeScript with the ability to define interfaces, manage types, and apply generics effectively.

4. Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) including promises, async/await, arrow functions, and array methods.

5. Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS to build responsive and visually consistent user interfaces.

6. Comfortable using Git for version control, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative workflows.

7. Demonstrated open-source contributions or well-documented personal projects hosted on GitHub.

8. Basic understanding of REST APIs and data-fetching patterns in frontend applications.

9. Familiarity with state management libraries such as Jotai, Zustand, or Redux is a plus.

10. Exposure to TanStack Query, SWR, Radix UI, shadcn/ui, or frontend testing tools like Vitest and Jest is advantageous.
