Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust automation frameworks in Python using libraries like Playwright and Selenium to ensure scalable and maintainable test solutions.

• Implement UI and API test automation, validating the functionality and performance of both frontend and backend systems.

• Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to achieve optimal test coverage and early bug detection.

• Conduct manual testing (functional, regression, and exploratory) when necessary to complement automation efforts and verify end-to-end workflows.

• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools for continuous quality checks.

• Utilize Git for version control and efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand system requirements and define effective test strategies.

• Identify, document, and manage software defects using standard bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.

• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews to align with Agile best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5–10 years of proven experience in test automation or similar QA engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python programming and automation frameworks.

• Primary proficiency with Playwright; additional experience with Selenium is a plus.

• Solid experience in API automation testing using Python libraries such as requests or similar frameworks.

• Comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and Agile processes.

• Proficiency in Git for source code management, branching, and merging.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automated testing workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with strong attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional setup.
