Job Description:
Volvo Construction Equipment is offering an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates to join as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee in Bangalore, focusing on Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. As part of the globally renowned Volvo Group, this role provides exposure to real-world HR operations in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will contribute to talent acquisition initiatives, particularly for blue-collar workforce hiring, while supporting diversity and inclusion strategies. You will work closely with hiring managers and academic institutions to plan campus recruitment drives and engagement programs. The role also involves building strong employer branding by organizing events and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across campuses and internal teams.
Additionally, this position emphasizes operational excellence and compliance. You will assist in managing HR processes such as payroll coordination, employee engagement initiatives, and lifecycle management of service provider employees. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement talent acquisition strategies to support short-term and long-term hiring goals for the organization.
- Plan and execute campus hiring events, building strong relationships with colleges and stakeholders.
- Support diversity hiring initiatives by analyzing data and implementing inclusive recruitment strategies.
- Assist in employer branding activities to position Volvo CE as a preferred employer among students and candidates.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Coordinate with HR teams to ensure timely payroll processing and compliance with organizational policies.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and internal HR guidelines.
- Handle end-to-end lifecycle management of service provider employees, including onboarding and administration.
- Analyze HR data and generate insights to improve recruitment and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR operations and organizational initiatives.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in BSW, B.Com, BBA (HR/ER), or a related field.
- Strong interest in human resources, talent acquisition, and working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Understanding of HR processes, employee engagement, and recruitment strategies is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance and accuracy.
- A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for building a career in HR and people management.
Expected Salary:
