Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Partner with engineering, accounting, tax, and financial operations teams to interpret and respond to regulatory, tax, and compliance reporting requirements.

  2. Blend and analyze data from multiple upstream systems to create structured outputs that support reconciliations, audits, and operational workflows.

  3. Build intuitive dashboards that help internal teams and regulatory partners easily access and understand key financial and operational metrics.

  4. Interface with global partners, vendors, and external financial entities to resolve data discrepancies, operational failures, and reporting mismatches.

  5. Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes and design scalable automation solutions to streamline reporting pipelines.

  6. Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve data quality, reporting reliability, and operational transparency.

  7. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide clear documentation and communication of problems and resolutions.

  8. Maintain high data governance standards through robust checks, validation rules, and audit-ready reporting practices.

  9. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data models, pipelines, and ETL processes remain accurate, traceable, and resilient.

  10. Advocate for continuous improvements in tooling, analytical processes, and reporting frameworks within a highly regulated environment.

Requirements & Eligibility

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Technical Operations, or similar analytical functions.

  2. Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries for large-scale datasets.

  3. Experience building ETL pipelines, automation processes, and data workflows supporting financial or operational systems.

  4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize issues, uncover trends, and identify root causes effectively.

  5. Experience working across multiple teams, aligning stakeholders, and influencing decisions through data storytelling.

  6. Understanding of financial systems, money movement workflows, and the nuances of regulatory or compliance-driven reporting.

  7. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with technical teams, financial partners, and external vendors.

  8. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, drive process changes, and maintain stringent data quality standards.

  9. Preferred: experience with regulatory reporting, accounting principles, or double-entry bookkeeping.

  10. Preferred: familiarity with distributed data frameworks like Hadoop or Spark and experience participating in code reviews or engineering best practices.
