Job Description
Randstad India is seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester to join a client project in Bangalore. This role is ideal for professionals who specialize in automation testing and are passionate about ensuring software quality through advanced testing frameworks and tools. As a QA Automation Tester, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated testing solutions that validate application functionality, performance, and reliability. The position requires strong expertise in automation tools, testing frameworks, and modern development environments to ensure high-quality software delivery across enterprise systems.
In this role, you will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to design and execute automated test cases that support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The position requires hands-on experience with Java-based testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Maven to automate complex test scenarios. You will also play a key role in identifying defects, analyzing application performance, and ensuring that software systems meet both functional and non-functional requirements before deployment.
Additionally, the QA Automation Tester will contribute to improving testing strategies and automation processes across projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in test automation and quality assurance. By leveraging modern testing tools and agile methodologies, the role focuses on delivering efficient testing solutions that improve development speed, enhance application reliability, and support high-quality product releases in enterprise environments.
Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and Maven to ensure comprehensive test coverage for enterprise applications.

Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality, identify defects, and ensure software meets performance and quality standards.

Take ownership of testing modules end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery of automation frameworks and test execution results.

Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and integrate automated testing processes into the software development lifecycle.

Implement automation testing within CI/CD pipelines to enable faster feedback and continuous validation of application builds.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues and improve application stability.

Utilize test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Xray, and Confluence to track testing activities, document defects, and manage project workflows.

Support integration testing and regression testing activities to ensure that new features do not impact existing system functionalities.

Work with CRM platforms and enterprise applications such as Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 during testing and validation processes.

Continuously improve testing frameworks and automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage across projects.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance with a strong focus on automation testing.

Hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java-based frameworks.

Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven used for managing test automation projects.

Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber for writing structured and maintainable test cases.

Familiarity with CRM systems and enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Power Platform.

Experience using test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Xray, and Confluence for managing testing processes.

Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle including test planning, test case development, execution, and defect tracking.

Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and automated software delivery.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex system issues and improve testing frameworks.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and QA teams.
Expected Salary
The typical salary for a QA Automation Tester with 6+ years of experience in India ranges between ₹12 LPA to ₹22 LPA, depending on technical expertise, automation framework knowledge, and experience with enterprise testing environments. Professionals with strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation, CI/CD integration, and enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics may receive higher compensation packages.
