R2R/FI MSD365 Business Central Test Analyst

About the Role

Qualitest Group is looking for an experienced R2R/FI MSD365 Business Central Test Analyst to support System Testing and End-to-End (E2E) Testing for a large-scale MSD365 BC implementation project. This role is ideal for professionals who are skilled in functional testing, have experience running scoping workshops, and can collaborate closely with business analysts and cross-functional teams.

You will be responsible for defining test scripts, managing onshore and offshore resources, and ensuring the quality of financial processes such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Financial Reporting. This is a hands-on testing role that requires excellent communication skills, risk-based testing (RBT) expertise, and experience with third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead System Test and E2E Test Scoping activities, conducting workshops with business users and BA teams.

• Define test scripts from business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

• Build, execute, and maintain test scripts in Azure DevOps (ADO), reporting progress and results.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage across R2R/FI modules.

• Manage both onshore and offshore testing teams, delegating tasks and ensuring timely script execution.

• Maintain and update RAID logs, escalating risks/issues to the Test Manager as required.

• Conduct Risk-Based Testing (RBT) workshops, prioritizing test coverage based on business impact.

• Report test execution progress to project leadership, ensuring transparency and traceability.

• Test MSD365 Business Central integrations with 3rd party systems to ensure data accuracy and process continuity.

Key Skills & Must-Have Expertise

• 4/5+ years of experience in R2R / FI testing for MSD365 BC.

• Strong understanding of functional testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • General Ledger (GL): Journal entries, chart of accounts, trial balance, financial statements.

  • Fixed Assets: Asset register, depreciation, disposals.

  • Banking & Cash Management: Bank reconciliations, cash flow management.

  • Financial Reporting: Balance sheet, P&L statements, analytics.

• Skilled in testing integrations with multiple 3rd party tools, including:
  Puzzel, Castelan, Emmiera, Trade Islands, Novuna, PED/PDQ, Cybersource, Salesforce, Amplience, Blue Ant, Yavrio (Banking), Continia, Adestra, Reputation, Trustpilot, Bazaar Voice, TMS, PostTag, Smart Analysis, and more.

• Proficient in ADO (Azure DevOps) for test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Certification.

• Experience with automation testing for MSD365 BC (optional, but a plus).

• Familiarity with finance-specific compliance and audit requirements.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root cause analysis for defects.

Salary Range

Typical salary for this role is between ₹12 LPA – ₹20 LPA depending on experience, domain expertise, and test management capabilities.
